Minnie’s is a lovely cottage in a superb location for exploring West Dorset. We enjoyed visits to most of the nearby beaches and the weather was generally good – one very wet morning we did the brewery tour at Bridport, very good. Hive Cafe excellent, also recommend ‘The Watch House’, their sister cafe on the beach at West Bay. Nigel, Nikki & Family – August 2012

We have really enjoyed our stay at Minnie’s. The weather has been amazing and the cottage has been a perfect retreat from the heat. The cottage is homely and really well equipped. The village is a perfect holiday spot with good pubs, nice walks by the river (and paddling) and a park and field for the boys to run their energy off on. I am sure we will be back to visit again! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved both cottage and surrounding area. Walk to beach and visit to Hive Cafe a must! West Bexington walk also enjoyable, although a fairly steep climb up the fields. Look forward to visting again. Chris & Sue – Surrey – May 2012

The cottage is cosy and sweet, the two pubs do lovely food. There is lots to do within the area, we enjoyed Knoll beach at Swanage and a ride on the steam train. Lyme Regis was good too and we had a great BBQ on Chesil beach. Adrian, Lara & family – Leigh on Sea – April 2012.

Thank you for the most amazing family holiday. We would highly recommend the Freshwater Jurassic Park Camping site for bowling and swimming with a young family. The facilities are brand new and very cheap and fantastic for ‘rainy days’. We can’t wait to book for next year. Dawn, Rich & Family – Enfield – March 2012.
